Am 23. Februar 2022 hat der Hohe Vertreter der EU im Namen der Europäischen Union eine Erklärung abgegeben, um für bestimmte Länder den Abgleich in Bezug auf bestimmte Maßnahmen zum Kampf gegen den Terrorismus bekannt zu geben.
Die Entscheidung des Rates hat eine Liste von Personen, Gruppen und Organisationen, die die EU als Terroristen betrachtet, aktualisiert und z. T. widerrufen.
Laut der Erklärung des Hohen Repräsentanten schließen sich die Kandidatenländer Nordmazedonien, Montenegro, Serbien und Albanien, das Land im Stabilisierungs- und Assoziationsprozess und ein potentieller Kandidat Bosnien und Herzegowina und die EFTA Länder Island und Liechtenstein, die Mitglieder des Europäischen Wirtschaftsraums und ebenso die Ukraine und die Republik Moldawien sich dieser Entscheidung des Rates an.
Im Anhang sind die folgenden Namen beachtenswert:

On February 23, 2022, the EU High Representative issued a declaration on behalf of the European Union, to announce the alignment of certain countries on the application of specific measures to combat terrorism.
The Council Decision updated and repealed a list of persons, groups, and entities that the EU considers terrorists.
According to the EU High Representative Declaration, the Candidate Countries North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Albania, the country of the Stabilization and Association Process and potential candidate Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the EFTA countries Iceland and Liechtenstein, members of the European Economic Area, as well as Ukraine and The Republic of Moldova align themselves with this Council Decision.
