Iran: Nächtliche Proteste gehen in Teheran und anderen Städten in der 46. Nacht des landesweiten Aufstands weiter

Iran Protest-Nr. 96

On Monday evening, October 31, the 46th night of the uprising, Tehran and various cities were the scenes of night demonstrations and “hit and run” clashes with the suppressing forces. Residents of Tehran’s Ekbatan district continued their nightly demonstration after several consecutive nights.

This area has become one of the centers of night riots. In recent nights, the oppressive forces have attacked houses and harassed their residents in revenge.

On Monday evening, in the same area, the repressive forces used vehicles with mounted loudspeakers to broadcast anti-MEK slogans. They also threw sonic bombs on houses. In response, the people chanted, “Death to the dictator.”

In Karaj’s Mehr villa, people widely shouted anti-regime slogans from the rooftops. In Tehran’s Gharb community, people chanted from the rooftops, “This year is a year of victims, Seyyed Ali (Khamenei) will be overthrown.” In Tehran’s Sadeghieh Golshahr metro station, people chanted “Death to the dictator” and “We will fight, we will die and take back Iran”.

Tabriz, in northwestern Iran, has been the scene of nighttime demonstrations and “hit and run” clashes between protesters and repressive forces. Young people shouted: “We are Babak’s soldiers; we are ready to die”, alluding to a historical legendary hero.

The protesters confronted the repressive forces and forced them to flee by throwing Molotov cocktails and rocks, hitting several repressive forces.

A night-time “hit and run” clash erupted between youth and repressive forces in Miandoab, West Azerbaijan province. The youths in Malekshahi in Ilam (Western Iran) targeted the police station, the secret service and the office of the Friday prayer imam.

Citizens staged nightly demonstrations in Amol in northern Iran and Yazd in central Iran, chanting “death to the dictator” and “death to Khamenei”. In Arak, Markazi province, the repressive forces opened fire on the night demonstrations and a clash broke out between youth and security forces.

Violent clashes erupted between protesters and repressive forces in Valiasr township in Arak. A Basij base in Arak was set on fire by the youth.

The people of Sanandaj and Marivan in western Iran held nightly demonstrations and blocked the road by setting fires. The brave youth of Kamyaran set fire to the regime’s surveillance cameras.

Meanwhile, due to the nationwide uprising among the oppressive forces, fear and desertion are on the rise and the regime’s parliament has ratified an urgent bill addressing this issue. The state-run Mehr news agency reported Oct. 30: “The salaries of the armed units will be increased by 20 percent and the State Security will continue to receive supplements for the additional burdens.”
